Sarah Carrier

Sarah Carrier was born and raised in Quebec, Canada. As early as she could remember, Sarah has always been playing with her dad’s camera, capturing her surroundings. She moved to Paris at the age of 19 where she worked as a journalist for the music magazine Les Inrockuptibles. After two years, she started working for the French-Japanese brand Maison Kitsuné where she handled their cultural & lifestyle programing worldwide for 11 years. This experience had her traveling around the globe, meeting creatives from all fields, and capturing spontaneously daily scenes and portraits.

The travels made Sarah discover and experience various cultures and art of living. She developed a more defined knowledge in art, design and architecture, and realized how strongly they connect through each other, especially in their our own individual space.

After hosting two exhibitions in Paris (2019, 2021) featuring a collection of self-developed analog photographies, Sarah decided to go independent in July 2023 to focus on her photography path. She is based in France and currently working on a photo project called « Artists at home » showcasing how artists cultivate their creativity and personal space through interior design.
