A photographic series exploring the stories of artists and creatives and their relationship with their homes.
It is a reflection on how their art and personal space blend with their surroundings. Is the curation of their objects a result of heritage, cultural influences, or primarily for inspiration?
Featuring painters, art collectors, furniture designers, ceramists, fashion designers, photographers, writers, musicians and movie directors, each shoot gathers notes from conversations, later expanded into a long-form narrative and accompanied by photographs.
For this project, I attended art residencies in Brazil and Turkey over the summer of 2024, and will be participating in additonal ones throughout 2025 in Oman, Tunisia, Armenia, Iceland and Argentina.
